Have you ever seen the movie Blood’s Haul? Neither have we. But we’ve heard the music from the film, recorded by The Keystones featuring none other than the drummer/leader of The Heliocentrics, Malcolm Catto.
The songs hit tape in producer Dan Ubick’s Highland Park studios on one of Catto’s trips to Los Angeles, and, though two of these songs found release in slightly different form on Connie Price and The Keystones’ Wildflowers LP, one, “Attack of the Penguins,” is exclusive to this release.
