Todmorden-based prog rock lovers Plank complete their vaunted trilogy of studio albums the best part of a decade after the second instalment, using local label Golden Lion Sounds as the platform. Arriving eight years after 2014’s ‘Hivemind’ and 2012’s komische-influenced ‘Animalism’ before it, ‘Future Of The Sea’ is an expansive collection of cosmic prog journeys, influenced by early Seventies Pink Floyd, classic krautrock like Neu! and Harmonia and more recent acts like Tortoise and Porcupine Tree.
