(17/09) For their latest trip into mind altering house and techno territory, the Acid Test crew has snapped up an EP's worth of collaborations between techno veteran John Tejada and serial TB-303 abuser Tin Man. As you'd expect, there's plenty of club-ready fodder on show, from the creepy techno drums and hard-wired acid lines of opener "Railjet" and clandestine, darkroom acid of "Prater Alee", to the quietly aggressive pulse of "Danube Lights", where rising and falling acid lines, hushed chords and crispy percussion hits drive an atmospheric track restlessly forwards. Also worth checking is "Bim", a sparse and bubbly affair that's shot through with crystalline positivity.
