(18/17) The irresistible Al-Tone Edits inaugurates a brand new label - 020312 with four of his choice cuts. Anyone keeping an eye on this firm will know - their records go for big bucks! Four uptempo disco numbers presented here, cut and spliced skilled and sympathetically and featuring some pretty obscure source material. "Remember Me" is a glitzy and groovy, late 70s disco edit. Rich on keyboard and guitar work and getting us truly locked in the pocket. "Beggar" is slightly more eccentric, unloading some emotive guitar solos while a frenetic rhythm section and vocal chorus get busy.
"Heaven" sees a powerful stomper get re-arranged for our dancing pleasure, while "Long Journey" sounds like an even more upbeat and jubilated version of Joubert Singers feel-good anthem, "Stand On The Word".
