(17/19) SMBD aka Simbad is back on Gamm once again, mixing genre's like drinks and concocting three tasty edits in the process. First up, Bootsy Collin's soulful staple, "I'd Rather Be With You" gets transformed into a smooth gliding house number. retaining the rich vocal qualities of the OG and adding low bass and syncopated percussion. On "Summertime" we see Mike Lowrey's stems get looped up an expanded up for a terrace friendly roller resplendent in sunshine exuberance. Finally, the legendary Colonel Abrams goes under the knife, SMBD working "Table 4 2" into a laid back and relaxed, BBQ-friendly house jam, with fluttering percussion and some gentle filter use to accompany those seriously soulful vox.
