It is the older, and more mature brother to Hood’s classic "Minimal Nation", highlighting his more evolved, technical craftsmanship, Full frequency and riddled with futuristic grooves and cerebral textures, there's no place for shoddy, 'lo-fi' production here. Quintessentially minimal in focus but grandiose in design, wrapped up in blisteringly urgent, pulsating techno beats. It shows a producer who's been through the mill, lived every second of it, then returned to his roots to do what, you feel, he enjoys doing most - mainlining the hottest Detroit techno to our minds at bodies and never dropping below 120BPM in the process
