A dedication to our hip-hop cousins due west, 'Rikers Island' is a deep and breezy breakbeat cut heavily influenced by the jazzier side of the burgeoning jungle and drum & bass sound coming from the likes of Good Looking and LTJ Bukem at the time. Both remastered here by seminal label Kniteforce , the Dream mix has more jazzy flourishes while the On The Run mix has more drive and heads down energy. Both totally timeless.
