Euphoria EP opens with a flourish of warm analogue 8-bit chip-tuned sounds — a fuzzy rhythmic base recalling a particularly artful video game soundtrack of yore — as icy pads bring the tune firmly into the contemporary moment. The squelching acid breaks of ‘A2’ also get the de-make treatment, while the sidelong ‘B1’ closes the disc with a subtly gorgeous synth meander.
