Akio Niitsu is a musical genius who is still internationally acclaimed for his originality and musicality, as evidenced by his album "I/o" (1978), which features guitar played at twice the speed and multiple recordings. This best-of album, compiled from the vast amount of previously unreleased sound sources left over from 1973 to 1984, presents a new side of Akio Niitsu that could not be found on his original albums, and is all being released for the first time on CD and LP as an official release. From the first multiple guitar recordings in 1973, which led to the production of the masterpiece "I/o" (1978), to the demo demos for "PETSTEP" (1982) and "Winter Wonderland" (1985), and the background music for environmental videos he worked on later in his career, and the early 80's MUJI background music production period, the more ambient labyrinth world of "I/o" (1978) is now available on LP with specifications for the whole world. The LP has been edited to worldwide specifications.
