(26/21) Long-serving Dutch imprint High Fashion Music continues to dig out, dust down and remix classic dancefloor gems of the 1970s and '80s. The latest classic to get the 21st century rework treatment is Gwen McRae's much sampled 'All This Love That I'm Giving', which re-emerges in versions crafted by veteran German rework merchants Tokapi Disco Team. On their EP leading 'remix 12" mix' version, they successfully doff a cap to both McRae's original (via elements lifted from the master tapes) and the Cassius 'French Touch' classic that sampled it. They continue in this vein on the more effects-laden, piano-happy and slow-build 'Dub', emphasising the now familiar vocal loop, while the 'bonus' version is a tease-and-release DJ tool built around the killer bassline and drums.
