Re-issue of this rare Salsa '45 including 'Que Se Sepa' & 'Don Lengua'. Born in CataNo, Puerto Rico, Nacho Sanabria - known as El Sabor De Nacho - was a crucial figure in the New York Latin scene from the 1950s onwards. His take on Roberto Roena's 'Que Se Sepa', first released in 1973, transforms the classic into something leaner and fiercer. The horns snap, the percussion locks in tight and his voice carries that unteachable ease of a veteran bandleader. On the flip, 'Don Lengua' rides a deeper groove that's full of streetwise swing and brassy flair. Both cuts show Sanabria's ability to balance charisma and control, rooted in Puerto Rican salsa yet touched by New York's funk and soul undercurrent. Reissued by PANORAMA Records, this one sits neatly within the label's run of rediscovered global grooves. It's a reminder of salsa's golden age when dancefloor heat and musical craft were inseparable.
