LeonxLeon exports four monster jams melding metallic disco with slo-mo italo & breezy electro-funk. "Beefcake" comes out swnging with electroid percussion & stabbing synths before settling into a tightly wound groove punctuated by boogie-esque trims & details. The A2 sees the tempo drop with the heads down chug of "I Am After All", an icy blast of Italo-noir driven to the dark heart of the dancefloor via growling bass and chilly keys. Over on the flipside "My Solar Brass" skips around the floor in skintight lycra, working sinewaves and synth toms into an uplifting groove equally suitable for both sunrise & sunset. Finally Red Laser classic (you can try and find it on the rare as fuck RL EP5) "The Train Tracks" is remixed to dizzy new heights by Les Yeux Orange comrade and Parisian synth fiend Alan Dente. Chucking a few hypercharged disco balls in amongst the engine room coal, Dente ups the intensity and emotion to creating a shimmering and shining beacon of synth disco delight. Limited to 180 copies bearing hand-stamped neon labels, this one's gonna fly across the channel quicker than Concorde on a come up, so don't sleep mes amis.
