The album was many years in the making and is a love letter from Lil Hurts 21 expressing the love for drum machines, old synths and unrequited lost love, during those dreamy summer days of the past.
Musically and sonically the project draws on the drum machine, synth based Black American soul music of the 1980s with sprinkles of English 1980s electronic pop music. It also takes influences from Yacht Rock/Soul
