New School Jazz Boogie Modern Funk Alert. Star Creature fav and Contemporary Brit Funk Boogie Hero Ourra has an interesting story to this one. He spent years chasing down a long forgotten private press Jazz CD from late 1990's Detroit. When he finally did, he was able to trace the origins back to the D's own James Merriwether Jr. where a cross pond collaboration took flight. The result is 3 tunes started in the 90s and finished off with Ourra's touch just in time for 2020 or maybe even 3020. Limited to 300 copies.
