Released in late 2017 on the revered ZamZam Sounds imprint (ZAMZAM58), "Over" is a heavy, brooding 140 BPM digi-dub hybrid from French producer Von D. The A-side features a powerful half-time reggae riddim anchored by warm, enveloping bass and commanding vocal delivery from Kingston's Digital Sham, addressing struggle and systemic corruption. The B-side, "Chalice Overdubs," strips the track back into a dizzying, echo-drenched dub version with luscious reverbs and live kete drumming.
