Hinton was the guitarist in the Muscle Shoals rhythm section 1967-1971 and therefore immersed in the sounds of deep soul music. This 1986 album has been described as "a grungy Alex Chilton-ish collection of garage soul anthems with dotty lyricxs and hoarse bleeding-throat vocals".
