On this Groovin' Records reissue, there's a sublime, piano-powered splash of peak-time deep house-meets-disco colour from Director's Cut aka Eric Kupper and the late Frankie Knuckles, plus an epic, 11-minute 'Classic mix' from Body & Soul NYC resident Joaquin 'Joe' Claussell. In typical fashion, he delivers a blend of Afro-Latin percussion, spiritual house grooves, deep house musicality and plenty of instrumentation from the original disco mix. As remixes go, it's simply stunning.
