The latest release on Joy Orbison and Will Bankhead's sporadic yet essential Hinge Finger outfit comes from German producer Barnt, whose previous 12"s have appeared on Cómeme and his own Magazine label among others. 'Under His Own Name But Also As Sir' features wildly oscillating synth lines that dance around a slamming cowbell, raw emotion and Vangelis-esque swooning getting hot and heavy on the dance floor. 'Chappell' bangs hard then, alternating between flirtatious drum machine floatation and slamming rave stabs that cut right through you.
