Based on one of David Bowie’s most avant-garde, experimental albums ‘Heroes’, the album ‘Heroes Symphony’ (aka ‘Symphony #4 “Heroes”’) was produced by American composer Philip Glass in 1996. Comprising a rich orchestra of string and wind instruments, Glass approaches the material from the opposite end of the spectrum to Bowie and Eno’s minimalistic original.
