"Soul of the Bible was a 1972 double album inspired by world religion with radio personality Rick Holmes projecting spoken word sermons and occasional "singing". The album has its share of of Spiritual Jazz, Funk, Psych, Blues, Gospel, & R&B. Highlights include the jazz funker “Fun in Church” with a drunken James Brown impression by Holmes, “Space Spiritual”, and the 15 minute psychedelic soul jazz expedition "Taj”.
