Very rare 7" issue from 1981 4AD single from this Bauhaus bassist collaborating with a painter & art critic. René Halkett (1900-1983) was member of the original 'Staatliches Bauhaus Weimar'. The words on this record are Halkett's and were recorded on a portable cassette recorder on his cottage in Cornwall on the 28th of July 1980. This project was completed with Jay recording the music on this record at Beck Studio in Wellingborough on the 18th of April 1981. The single has an insert with lyrics and biographies.
