McNair played flute on the "Kes" soundtrack and appeared on albums by Donovan, John Martyn, Davy Graham..but he was always a jazzman at heart and had a stint with Quincy Jones and the admiration of Charles Mingus to prove it. This 2012 release compiles the "Harold McNair" & "Flute & Nut" from '68 & '70 respectively.
