Even now, Parker is still best known for his work on the Chicago scene, playing in bands like Tortoise, Isotope 217 and the Chicago Underground. And despite being one of the scene's most prolific artists, his work as a soloist, or at least with his name listed as the lead, has traditionally been harder to find.
