An album recorded at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on June 10th and June 16th, 1965. Digitally re-mastered at MCA Music Media Studios. "Dear Lord", which appeared on the original LP of "Transition", has been issued on CD on "Dear Old Stockholm" with the rest of the session from which that tune came. "Welcome" and "Vigil", which originally appeared on the LP "Kulu Se Mama" have been added to this CD version of "Transition". Featuring musicians Jimmy Garrison, Elvin Jones, McCoy Tyner & John Coltrane.
