(19/07) Ben Johnson and Tim Tucker make up Love Cryme, who here drop a double-A side of funked up, hardware pleasure - beautifully decorated with vocals by the two producers in a true DIY fashion. While "Give 2 Me" boasts sludgy drums and thick squelchy bass, "She's So Freaky" injects some pace through its big square wave synths and vintage Jomox hand claps. Both come correct with subtle guitar and keyboard flurries and niggles, working in unison with the vocals in an authentic, call-response style.
