Mallard were formed by three members of Beefheart's Magic Band-Zoot Horn Rollo, Rockette Morton and Art Trip-when they fell out with the Captain after recording the Unconditonally Guaranteed LP. This 1994 CD compiles both their albums and would certainly be enjoyed by anyone who likes the mid-70s Beefheart records.
