Mingus Dynasty were a Jazz group formed by Sue Mingus shortly after Charles Mingus's death in 1979 with the goal of performing Mingus compositions. Both Dannie Richmond and Jimmy Knepper have worked as musician directors of the group. This album features Reggie Johnson, Kenny Washington, Sir Roland Hanna, Ricky Ford, Jimmy Knepper & Richard Williams.
