Apart from a really tasty, summertime house jaunt on Mahogany, not much has emanated from this cat since her stunning mini LP Moodymann's cult label. Two versions of a new track: "Gotta Believe". The first is a soulful, bumpety house cut, floating the distinctive Badu vocal style over one of those simple but infectious Detroit grooves. On "Believe In The Boogie" we get Nikki O's vocals riding a Radiance instrumental - "You're My Number One", taking this timeless boogie anthem and twisting it up for the folks in 2017.
