Stargazer was released in 1971 as the second studio album from the Scottish folk singer Shelagh McDonald, the last before her abrupt disappearance from the scene. Featuring some stellar names such as Richard and Danny Thompson and Keith Christmas, it’s a pastoral, lightly psychedelic folk affair whose stature grew over the decades of her artistic silence.
