"King Kong Man" was a classic Roots Reggae and Dub 7" vinyl single by Sid Lovejoy, originally released in 1976 on the Toronto-based label G Clef Records. Sid Lovejoy was a prominent singer, musician, and producer who operated a studio, record shop, and label at 917 Bathurst Street in the heart of Toronto’s "Little Jamaica" community. Originally a very rare and sought-after collector's item from 1976, this official 7" reissue brings Lovejoy's powerful roots anthem back into circulation, featuring the original vocal mix paired with a heavy dub version.
