This set brings together all the recordings he made starting in 1940 to the early 1950s. Included is the popular Symphony No. 3 (A Pastoral Symphony), which was premiered on January 26, 1922 in London with Boult conducting, as well as Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis.. As a special bonus, CD 13 includes audio footage of Sir Adrian Boult in rehearsal during the recording process with EMI.
