Snarky Puppy & the Metropole Orkest released their second collaborative album 'Somni'. A follow-up to 2015’s Sylva (which won the GRAMMY for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album), the single hour of mind-blowing music displayed on this record centres around themes of dreams. Written by Michael League in December 2024 on a retreat in Japan, arranged later that month by League and Metropole conductor Jules Buckley, and recorded over three days in January 2025 in Utrecht, NL, this massive undertaking brought together the already-huge Snarky lineup (now with four drummers) with the massive Metropole.
