(17/14) Sticking two fingers up at Britain's decision to leave the EU, the good folks at Bokhari have decided to package The Time Has Come in a black-and-white sleeve, with an accompanying message for listeners to colour in the illustration themselves. Musically, they're sticking to their guns, though, inviting Distant Hawaii man Sweely to deliver some hardware-driven deep house. He begins with the hustling deep house/acid house fusion of "The Time Has Come", before venturing deeper and woozier via the bouncy grooves and tipsy chords of "Hangover Day". The EP also features the sublime, boompty-influenced jazz-house bounce of "Wopp" and a fine Rhythm Plate remix of "The Time Has Come" that looks to the warehouse rave era for inspiration.
