'Music Force' is a dramatic, highly sought-after 1985 French Synth-Funk and Library music album by Swing Family. Led by French disco pioneer Sauveur Mallia, Swing Family acted as a "supergroup" of French funk and jazz royalty. The album is heavily driven by Mallia's arsenal of synthesizers (including the Mini Moog, Yamaha DX7, and Oberheim) combined with slick basslines and heavy brass sections. For nearly two decades, original pressings of the LP on the Tele Music label were incredibly rare and expensive, almost entirely due to the album's standout track: "Mission Africa," a strutting, Afro-Cosmic cult classic revered by both DJs and collectors.
