The group that leader Ashley Hutchings put together for both albums boasted a wide variety of talents, with Phil Beer leading on a strong version of Richard Thompson’s Time To Ring Some Changes and Simon Care driving the highly danceable Seneca Two Step. Beer himself surprises with some powerful fuzz guitar on The Three Toed Tumbler, which also features Pete Zorn’s sax. Extra variety comes from three fine Polly Bolton-lead vocals on I Only Want To Dance With You, Trip To Bath and Young Love On The Dance Floor, with the latter making a sweet and satisfying album closer."
