1976 - The Brothers were an emerging Disco soul septet whose blistering arrangements and ferocious playing had earned them a cult following and a major label deal. Little did they know that only a few years after the release of 'Brothers theme' that it would be a huge record on the dance-floors of NYC's Paradise Garage and Chicago's Music Box with both Larry Levan and Ron Hardy hammering the record behind the controls every night. The playing of the group paired with the production prowess of the legendary producer, writer and arranger Warren Schatz (Frankie Valli, Dolly Parton, Vickie Sue Robinson and more) combined to make a fairly heady brew of Disco, orchestral overtures and bombast that just ignites. 'Proper' Disco music in it's purest form, still doing damage today!
