Rare red vinyl issue from 2003 of an album recorded by the Jamaican house band of choice, in session at Lee Perry's newly founded Black Ark in 1973, all mixed down by King Tubby. Originally appearing on Jam sounds in 1975, and made more widely available as African Roots in 1976, these blink and you missed them issues scarcely do justice to this unbelievable music. Lloyd Brevett's Skatalites joined by Nyabinghi drummers, Benbow Creary on drums, Augustus Pablo on keys and crucially Chinna on guitar. Check the breaks on the two version of Fugitive contained here, for the funkiest dub you will hear this side of the Upsetters' popcorn. Includes tracks 'Middle East Dub', 'Fugitive Dub', 'Seven Seal', 'African Roots Dub', 'Candlelight Dub', 'Rock Bottom Dub', 'Middle East', 'Fugitive', 'African Roots Version' & 'Starlight'.
