Very rare double vinyl issue from 2002. Ursula 1000 was the brainchild of New York producer and multi intrumentalist Alex Gimeno. Inspired by 60's soundtracks, the 90's lounge revival, Japanese shibuya-kei, Funk and Disco, Gimeno fused these varied sounds to create what he calls his "retro/future" sound. He’s toured the world and performed in over 30 countries and collaborated with the likes of Fred Schneider of The B52s, Lady Bunny, Puddles Pity Party and had his music used in 'Sex And The City', 'Grey’s Anatomy' and for ads for Verizon, Adidas and Grand Marnier.
