Van Duren came out of the same Memphis scene as Big Star and ploughed a very similar musical furrow(he even worked with Chris Bell & Jody Stephens). In 1979 he recorded this album whhich then mouldered in the vaults for over 20 years. Why? If not quite as good as '78 debut it's still an excellent slice of power pop. This is the 2020 US reissue in digipak.
