(2545) Inspired, in part, by the genre-bending, E'd-up, late-80s and early 90s sound of the late, great Andrew Weatherall. That can be heard loud and clear on title track 'Replica', where trippy, early progressive house synth sounds ride a heavy bassline and bustling beats, and the acid bass-propelled Italian dream house nostalgia of '89'. It's there, too, in the glassy-eyed shuffle of flip-side opener 'Unknowns' and the deep, dubby and tribal percussion-infused dreaminess of 'Last Dance', which sounds like Sabres of Paradise's Jagz Kooner may have made it sometime around 1989.
