Across two slabs of wax, he delivers his organic, musically expansive and frequently sunny take on deep house, peppering layered grooves with spacey synth solos, star-fall electronics and chords so warm you could probably use them as a source of heat. Highlights include opener 'After The Party (Instrumental)', the richly organic, fluid and soulful vocal cut 'Don't Let Nobody Tell You', where lilting trumpet solos and heady Rhodes licks catch the ear, the slowly-rising soulful house headiness of 'Higher Self (Vocal)', and the percussion-rich jazz-house dustiness of 'Makin' Me Feel Some Way (Instrumental)'.
