Nordic nu disco pioneer Magnus International returns to Full Pupp with only his third single in six years - and it's a peach. 'Gamlefar' strikes a fine seam of uplifting european freestyle/Italo and 'Treig' keeps the vibes positive with a flurry of arpeggiated melody and grubbing acid disco groove. 'Das Magnus' really charms with its whistling hook and bubbling disco pulses; 'Fankern' plays a cooler mid-tempo strut and 'Rea' gets all misty-eyed by the side of the fjord, gazing out on panoramic synth washes and icy arpeggios. Very likeable!
