Dig! is the sixth studio album by the acclaimed UK five-piece soul ensemble Mamas Gun. Released on April 10, 2026, the album is a masterclass in organic, timeless soul that captures the brotherhood of musicians at the very peak of their collaborative powers. To achieve its deeply authentic and warm sound, the album was recorded live, straight to 16-track analogue tape at All Things Analogue Studios in Leeds, UK. Guided by frontman Andy Platts' signature golden falsetto, the 11-track LP weaves through universal themes of love, family, redemption, and hope acting as an uplifting sonic balm for turbulent times. The standout Jazz-Funk title track, "DIG!", features a special guest appearance by legendary American artist Brian Jackson (best known as Gil Scott-Heron's songwriting partner). A rich, nostalgic blend of classic R&B, jazz, gospel, and blue-eyed soul, driven by tight drum grooves, James Jamerson-inspired basslines, and dynamic Hammond organ.
