Doo-Bop is the final studio album by jazz legend Miles Davis, released posthumously in 1992. Always looking to push musical boundaries, Davis collaborated with hip-hop producer Easy Mo Bee to create a pioneering fusion of his signature muted trumpet and early '90s hip-hop beats. While Davis passed away before the album was entirely finished, Easy Mo Bee completed the project using unreleased trumpet stems. The resulting project won the 1993 Grammy Award for Best R&B Instrumental Performance and stands as a fitting, forward-looking bookend to one of the most innovative careers in modern music.
