Very rare 7" issue from 2015 of Ray Barretto's fiery Latin Jazz and Soul-Fusion rendition of Stevie Wonder's 1976 classic “Pastime Paradise” is a massive favorite among crate diggers, collectors, and DJs. Known for its incredible percussion work, vibrant horn arrangements, and deep groove, Barretto's version highlights the timelessness of the original composition long before it gained further mainstream recognition through samples like Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise”. The original 7-inch release on CTI Records is a prized collector's item for fans of Latin Soul and Jazz-Funk.
