Cheeky acid, playful electronics, adventurous experimentation - recalling the fun and frolics of other circuit benders such as Legowelt, AFX, Luke Vibert et al, but all distinctly ROTR! There's a nice, functional, stripped-back approach across the EP - with kicking drum sequences and direct b-lines forming much of the focus. That is, if you discard the sample-heavy "Sleeping With The Lights On" - which tips its hat to early hardcore breakbeat.
